Bouncing from Lyme doctors to Lyme doctors and keeping the smile while Liam's blood is being oxygenated.

We found a good doctor near us. Dr. Klima. An hour and a half drive each way. Liam started getting ozone in his blood. Six rounds, every three weeks. It was supposed to bring him back to full health, but during his first "pass", the doctor said Liam's blood was really "thick." In medical terms, that means full of inflammation. This was not good news. And Liam didn't do well with the treatment either; it wiped him out for days each time, and we didn't see much improvement. So the doctor proposed the big gun: put Liam's blood through a filter. This meant removing inflammation, pathogens, heavy metals, viruses... Liam said okay, let's do it.

That was March 2025. The procedure was hard on him, but afterward? He felt better than he had in years. Months of happy, active Liam. What a win.

But during the blood cleansing, another piece of bad news came. The filter showed an extreme amount of inflammation. I could tell the doctor was worried as it was more than he usually saw in other patients. I had the instinct to push for a second round, but Liam didn't want to. So I let it go. It's his body, after all. And the procedure was gruesome.

Then October came. Along with COVID. Again. And Liam fell back into the abyss.

Because the blood filter had been such a success, I started looking for a clinic that would do the same thing, but multiple times in a row, and with a more holistic approach. That's when I found the apheresis clinic in Cyprus. We had a video consultation and afterward, Liam said, "I like the doc. Let's do it."
