Welllll....
This week was a no-go. Liam's body just did not want to be tampered with.
The IV? Nope, didn't work. A couple of days later, the big machine? Nope. It really, really didn't work. So no treatment this week. Just rest, walks, exploration, and we saw "Hail Mary" at the theater too.
It's been pretty tough on Liam. I think he's getting tired from all the treatments, and his veins just decided to... collapse.
I freaked out when the nurse told me that. Two collapsed veins. WTF? (Excuse my French. ;)) But apparently it happens. Nothing to worry about. Sure...
Cream and more cream later, it's starting to, maybe, look a bit better? Half of Liam's right arm is pretty much green.
So Liam needs a break badly. On Monday, we're going to explore the southeastern tip of Cyprus and swim a bit. Total reset. That coming week is completely OFF!
And on the 11th, Liam will need a catheter to continue the treatment. He is really, really scared. So please send all your positivity and prayers on that day.
Then it will be three weeks on speed run. That will be the hardest time yet.
I'll write to you in two weeks to let you know how it all went.
Until then, happy May Day, and wishing you all a beautiful weekend.
