Seems like time flew in the last 2 weeks.
And just like that, Liam is almost done with treatments. It kind of crept up on us super fast. After the adjustment to the catheter, time just flew by.
So the good news: Liam has adapted really well to his new contraption. He found a way to sleep on his back, surrounded by six cozy pillows, and it completely stopped hurting too. Turns out the treatment is going much faster and much easier now as well.
Week two was a big win!
Six more sleeps and Liam is done! Well, done with the big stuff. There will be follow-up infusions back home, probably a blood cleansing twice a year for now, some supplements, but nothing like what he has done here. Liam will be entering the recovery phase and hopefully he will be able to introduce sports into his life. That would be a huge win and a way out of chronic illness.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend and thank you for being here with us.
