Returning home tomorrow

That's it. Two and a half months over. It felt long and short all at once, but all I know is that Liam and I are ready to return to our apartment. Well... Liam is looking forward to his gaming chair. LOL

It has been two weeks since the last treatment, and so far, Liam still has issues with sleep and is not top-top. The doctors said we should expect a change about one to three months post-treatment.

In the meantime, Liam has tons of vitamins to take, and we have a conference call scheduled with the doctor next week to go over the post-treatment blood results and put together a plan for the next year. Liam will probably do a couple more blood cleansings in Germany to make sure no little bugs are left behind.

While we waited for our flight back, we did a little trip to the west end of the island. It was GORGEOUS! We rented a cheap hotel and explored Roman ruins, the coast, and visited the most amazing monastery built into the mountain rock. It was nice to take a break from the center. A much-needed three-day break.

Today we will go back one last time to the beach, and tomorrow we fly home.
